I’m Katie. Wildlife enthusiast, marine biologist, animal lover.

Passionate about sharing the natural world with others.

Through photos,

through conversation,

and through shared joy.

I spend the winter on the Ningaloo Reef photographing the giants of the ocean; whalesharks, humpback whales and manta rays.

And all the little intricate beauties found in between.

Summer months are slower and spent in Albany, exploring the birds and little critters of the forests of the Great Southern.

I started my journey photographing birds with a secondhand Canon 550d, and was immediately addicted. I am lucky enough now to shoot with mirrorless cameras, but I sometimes miss the little 550d and its many learning curves.

Hopefully my photos help to connect people to the natural world around them, the incredible animals and the wild places that sustain them.
